Via the Hairpin, this is the funnest game ever: Upload a picture of yourself, and the Doggelganger program will find a dog that looks like you and that is also in your area. Unfortunately the program thinks I am in New Zealand, so I can’t actually go and get my doggelganger Elliot. But look how cute he is! And we are definitely twins. Someone adopt him:

Jill, why is your makeup always perfect?
Awww, I want to adopt an Elliot!
I was matched with a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. I’m in trouble if the North Shore Animal League develops their own Doggelganger!
Seriously!
Well, the day this picture was taken I knew I’d be seeing my ex boyfriend, so my make-up game had to be tight.
We’ve been looking for a little brother or sister for Dave. I matched up with another husky, and The Boy matched with a sweet-looking mastiff mix–either of them preferable to the neurotic rat terrier we’re currently fostering. But so, so far away. Sigh.
Not exactly – the website is only for dogs in New Zealand.
This has made me and my Facebook friends extremely happy.
I’ve tried it several times now and it always just comes back with “Try again” so I guess I’m not as much of a bitch as I thought. :D
(That and I just don’t have many face pics of me on my hard drive – I like being the one holding the camera.)
I couldn’t help but give this one a try. I wished I hadn’t because the pup is matched me with is a 9 month old female pit bull mix whose been abused her whole life. I can’t adopt her, but maybe I can donate some money for the surgery she needs? :( Poor little girl.

I wish I could adopt her.
how do you get high accuracy with your matches?! mine was only a 60% match.
