Ugh, this picture definitely made me cry when I saw it last night. I cannot even imagine what it must feel like to be one of those couples; to finally have your marriage recognized, after decades of waiting, for some of them! The couple above has been together for almost as long as I’ve been alive and they’re just now being recognized by the state.
Yeay New York! It about time! It must feel wonderful for these couples, who have lived together for decades, to FINALLY get their marriage recognized. What a great day for New York. I wish each and every couple happiness and, again, CONGRATULATIONS!!
