Hey there, and lovely to hear you’ll be blogging this summer! ^__^

I’d love further discussions of the Evangelical Movement, actually.

Hey, if it’s not all hats, all the time, I’m going to register a complaint!

    Ditto what macavitykitsune said.

Your pieces on the evangelical movement were interesting and the discussions it generated about potential solutions and harm reduction were very informative!

Of course I’m confident that anything you write about will be just as good.

Feministe’s most sarcastic commenter returns to guest-blogging? This is a good (Mon)day. :-)

I’d love to hear more about Chi…sort of dog-obsessed, myself. Let’s begin with…what’s Chi’s stance on feminism?

Love dogs, love thinking about what our attitudes toward our pets say about our attitudes about each other. Right now I’m sort of weirding out about how JUDGMENTAL dog people are toward other dog people (and cat people to cat people) if you do anything “wrong” — very much like we are toward women with children, for instance. Also fascinated by the possibility for overlap between the positive training philosophy with dogs and a more positive, motivational, patient attitude toward our own family.

    1) Yay!

    2) Puppy!

    3) I’d love to hear more on how you see the law/legal issues intersecting with those pesky ‘esoteric philosophical questions.’

Also henceforth I will be called Kristen J., the Most Sarcastic Commentor Ever aka the Queen of Sarcasm.

Starting the controversial claims a little early, aren’t we?

    This, please!

I take it Chi is a Chi? You never see all black Chis!

Ha! No Chi is just a term of endearment. (Its an informal suffix in Japanese that means indicates cuteness.) Her name has slowly morphed in to Chi, Cheesybutt or Cheeseburger.

D’oh! Thanks for explaining that. :) Also, I’m totally stealing Cheesybutt for a future pet.

Welcome. I’m looking forward to your posts on Evangelical Christianity and dogs. Lots of dog posts please! (Proud mother to two boxer girls and a mutt!)

I’m glad to know that I’m not the only one who obsesses about their dog. My family adopted a Great Dane puppy back in February and I think he is just the coolest dog ever. He’s been such a joy! And even when he’s not on his best behavior, he’s so darn cute that I can’t stay mad at him….and he knows it. lol
