The Beauty Curse: Help Fund a Graphic Novel

Journalist Eric Pape is raising funds to create the graphic novel The Beauty Curse, about gendered attacks in Cambodia. Details of the project are here. The inspiration for the book:

The Beauty Curse will be a rigorously journalistic full-length graphic book about an incident that happened in Cambodia 13 years ago.

A pretty young girl’s face, head and torso were drenched with several liters of acid in a truly savage assault that changed her life forever.

If you can throw a few dollars their way, it sounds like a great project.
